How can I improve my oral health?
Fun fact: It costs much less to keep your teeth and gums healthy than it does to have treatment once you have a problem. But what’s the best way to improve your oral health?
We thought you’d never ask.
Brush. This is pretty simple. Two times a day. Two minutes each time. Use fluoride toothpaste.
Floss. No one wants to do it. Everyone should. Floss every day to remove plaque from areas your toothbrush can’t reach.
Mouth rinse. It’s an extra layer of prevention that kills germs.
Avoid sugary beverages and snacks. Or at least eat them in moderation. (Dr. Allan Padbury enjoys some Good & Plentys and a cherry Pop-Tart on occasion.)
Visit your dentist regularly. We’re here for you if you need us. But regular visits to your general dentist make it less likely that you will.
